Who is a person/expert on your field that you admire?
Paula Scher is a graphic designer and artist. She studied at the Tyle School of Art in Pennsylvania and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 1970. Afterward, she moved to New York city where she was able to maximize her work and converted as the first female director at Pentagram, one of the most influential design company in the world.
She has developed branding and identity systems, promotional materials, environmental graphics, records covers, packaging and publication designs for a clients who Microsoft, Adobe, Shake Shack, Citybank, Walt Disney Company, Museum of Modern Art and Botanical Garden New York, but his most outstanding work was in 1990 for the identity of the theater The Public.
I like her a lot because she is very creative and modern when designing, in addition to the fact that she has been one of the revolutionaries and innovators in the graphic design industry, wich seems very important to me as a female reference. She manages to express unique, dynamic and striking designs.
